T-Piece – Solvent Weld

T Piece – Solvent weld for pond pipework suitable for a large variety of pond applications. Can be used above and below ground.

Supplied in 1.5″ to 4″ cover common sizes. It is easy to cut and work with and is UV resistant providing a long life to your pond pipework. It is the most common used pipework in a solid form and much more desirable than flexible pipe.

When working with Solvent weld products it is advisable to dry fit before applying the glue as mistakes cannot be rectified once the glue has been applied. This prevents costly mistakes! (remember measure twice, cut once!) It is also important to remember to allow the glue to set for a minimum of 24 hours before exposure to water. This will allow it to fully seal and prevent any unwanted leaks.

It is also advisable to refrain from working in hot conditions as the glue will adhere very quickly and not allow full contact with fittings.
